COPA 70 Annual Skating party at Rick's house in Goodwood/Uxbridge.
The rink is 100 feet by 50 feet and features lights, benches to put your skates on rink-side and an outdoor warming fire pit.

The 420 Wing is having a Fundraising Gala with the theme of "April In Paris".
Tickets will be available soon at the bar. Dinner will include steak and shrimp.
The Wing is seeking organizations interested in sponsoring the Gala, and in donations suitable for the silent auction, such as "experience" gifts cards, small appliances, home decor and sporting event tickets.

Oshawa Tower supports Hope Air by selling honey produced at the base of the tower. All proceeds are donated to Hope Air.
Jars (500g) of raw, natural honey are available for sale, for a minimum donation of $12 each. Spiced honey, lip balm and bees wax are available too. Also new this year is butter to season wood cutting boards.

COPA is the abbreviation for the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association. You do not need to be a pilot to join. Aviation enthusiasts are welcome !
We are the Durham Region chapter, called COPA Flight 70. We include members in the area around Oshawa, from Pickering to Coburg, and north past Port Perry.
We are a group of about 60 pilots who meet monthly, to hear interesting speakers, discuss local aviation issues and share information and education. We also assist other groups such as the Ninety-Nines and the RAA, in aviation activities.
Our primary purpose is to share the camaraderie of flying. We are also interested in promoting aviation and aviation safety.
